In addition to collecting and tracking garbage that has accumulated along Cadboro Bay Beach, this event will also provide educational opportunities to learn more about our plastics problem and how you can make environment-friendly adjustments within your lifestyle.

Read more about this event.

The organiser, Surfrider, is kindly asking us to bring whatever personal equipment you may have for the clean up (gloves, buckets, etc)  and to sign the waiver from the link below.

Please note that because this event is a last minute re-location to their program, you will have to first click the link that says "Royal Bay Beach Cleanup” and then you will be able to select the proper location on the actual form itself: Cadboro-Gyro Bay Beach on June 3rd.

Complete the waiver here.

Pot Luck Boat Crawl - June 29, 2023

When:

Thursday, June 29, 2023, starting around 6pm

What:

Pot luck boat crawl on June 29 starting around 6 pm. Everyone can bring something to drink and some nibblies to share and we can make the co-op boats and Quantum available to sit around on and socialize on. The idea is that each boat would have at least one person on it at all times acting as the host and people could wander around from boat to boat. Sort of like a house party with multiple rooms. Since the marina doesn\'t allow open alcoholic drinks on the dock you would be forced to drink your drink on the boat before moving on to the next one.
